Theodore is a good solid name!

How to post your pix on blogger: I upload using the image, then in the edit view, click on the image and literally drag it where I want it. You may have to play with it a little 'cos I've found when you pulish, it often doesn't look the same! OR, you can go into the HTML view, copy the code for the image, then paste it after the word where you want the image to appear.

Hope that helps!

Theodore could also become Dory, as in Adore...

Not that I would know of Renee Adoree...

Hi, thanks for visiting my blog, & leaving me a comment.
I think you should name your Bear Frasier. I am sure it would be a unique name for him, as he is a unique bear.

What about William S Bear-oughs :)

hey meggie thanks for stopping by, and why didn't i think of that -- Frasier -- that totally makes sense, being that Frasier is one on my #1 fave sit coms! -- but of course it will be up to the judges...

hey there godwacker William sounds good, but how do you pronounce "oughs", 'cuz i don't think i'm getting the intended joke?

cheers all,
thanks for stopping by.

how about simply "mr bear" or "primero," spanish for first, since this was the first bear you made?

even though it's been said already, i do like "teddy" also. you have some good names to choose from. so pj, does the winner of the chosen name get a bear made by your lovely hands?

heh heh heh heh, sylvia....maybe, but i'm afraid the winner will have a long wait. At the moment i have one arm floating around, don't know where the rest of the pattern is...but i think it will be awhile before i get back into bear making.

I was thinking about doing a Post on all the unfinished projects i have, starting with my "drunkard's pathway" quilt that has been sitting in the bottom of my sewing stool for the past ....um....believe it or not, about 15 years!!!

I vote for "SNUGGLES". My youngest had a snuggles bear. He now has it in his room as an adult. He also has his Alf from childhood.

Have an awesome day!

How about "Mr.Bearsley" or "Mr. Dressup"

Smalltown RN said...

PS....I thought you bear just looked so formal with his red tie hence the "Mr.Dressup"

hi beachgirl; thanks for the great submission!

Hi smalltown RN thanks again for the suggestions - both of which are great! - it is going to be difficult for the judges!

and don't let me forget, i have decided to look through my "gifties" drawer for a prize. My Gifties Drawer is a drawer in which i put "re-gifts", as well as the odds and sods that i pick up when i am shopping. I see something that is marked down, something cute, and cheap enough for my slim budget, then i store it for when i need a gift in a rush.

So if there is someone who wants a real prize, i will have one!

There is a general misconception in the public that HALAL (muslim ritual slaughter) is inhumane/ causes undue suffering to the animals. Well this is wrong... this articles tries to prove the case for Halal Slaughter referencing a recent study... check it out
